Performer News

The Humbuckin’ Pickups

Exciting news! The Humbuckin’ Pickups have been nominated for Folk Alliance Australia’s ‘People’s choice awards’. In January this year they released their ‘Just Like Winter’ CD and since then have been playing at various venues, house concerts, festivals & folk clubs all over the country. Can’t wait to hear them at SydFolkFest23 and, good luck for the FAA Awards.

The Good Behaviours

Nick Henderson, the band’s front man is currently travelling the U.S on a banjo pilgrimage through North Carolina, West Virginia and Tennessee. We’re sure there’ll be stories to be had when the band performs at this year’s SFF. Can’t wait! In other exciting news two of the band’s members Holly Downes and Chris Stone have just been appointed as two thirds of the National Folk Festival’s new Artistic Team. Big congrats to both from SydFolkFest.
